Well, only FOUR students came to tell me about the secret message last week. FOUR!! So I hope my four loyal fans are reading this again this week.
I am really pleased with the number of students who have been sharing their ideas for our end of term assessment project. They are looking really good. If you don't have an idea yet, don't worry. We are still working on this.
This would be a good time to start thinking about what materials you will use. Recycled items would keep with the term theme, but you can use whatever you like. We will talk about this more in class. Remember, we will be making the models AT SCHOOL.
It was good to see a few more people adding their name to the correct spelling chart. If you are finding some of the words tricky to learn, have a go at some new ways to learn. I will put some here. If you have a good method for learning your words, maybe you could share them with the class.
Some spelling ideas:
Put your spinner on the table beside you, spin it, and see how many times you can write the word before the spinner stops.
Write each word in a different colour or font. Try to make it creative so it sticks in your mind.
Make your words into a wordsearch. You really have to think about the letters if you do this.
