At this end of this week we will be half way through the term. We have certainly packed a lot in and really, we have only just begun! Over the next couple of weeks we will be preparing for our NEXT BIG PROJECT!!
Well done to everyone who took part in the Cross Country event on Friday. I think it went very smoothly but there seemed to be a lot fewer students attending??
Quite a few Room 1 students have indicated that they never read the blog and never read the school weekly newsletter. I am not surprised that they do not know what is going on in our class. It is really disappointing. If you are reading this WELL DONE AND THANK YOU! You are taking an active part in your learning. There will be a hidden message on the notices or homework this week. Please keep it to yourself if you find it - just tell me. If you tell your friends that will not give me an accurate indication of who has read the blog.
We are going to the Parish Mass on Friday at 9am. Families are welcome to join us.
I will share the term task with you this week. Also remember, a tock is related to something you can receive in class (hint). Remember - you can carry out research at home, but the task will be done in class. At this stage, you just need to start thinking about what you might do.
We are holding an information evening on:
‘What it means to attend a Catholic School’.
This is for anyone to attend who would like to know more about the unique aspects we cover at St Mary’s and the promotion of Catholic values as a Catholic School. We will look into the RE content taught, Sexuality programme taught, expectations and community spirit as well. WHEN: 5.30 - 6.30pm, Wednesday 31st May 2017, WHERE: St Mary’s School, Rooms 14. WHO: New families, those interested in continuing in the Catholic education system via JPC,.
